None of us wanted to leave our cars behind so we each took a seperate vehicle to Denali. This was going to be a pretty long trip and so Esme and Carlisle decided they wanted to use it as a sort of mini-vacation. They wanted to stop off at several tourist sights along the way. It actually sounded like a lot of fun to me so Jasper, Alice and I agreed to stop with them. Emmett and Rosalie were ready to get to Alaska and settle down so they kept on driving.
Our first stop was Minneapolis. Alice was dying to go to the Mall of America and since Alice always gets her way, we went. The place was enormous. Even as a vampire I figured it would take at least a few days for me to be able to take this place in. Alice immediately went to shopping. Carlisle and Esme enjoyed the arcitecture of the mall. Jasper and I felt like little kids going to Disney World with our parents in this place. Most of the time Carlisle and Esme just rolled their eyes at us.
We shopped. We went to see several movies and we even rode on the roller coaster. This is the trip that Jasper and I should have taken in the first place. We had no worries. We actually had a lot of fun. All in all it was a great way to spend a couple of days.
We hit the road again tomorrow. Heaven knows where we will stop next.
